Every time Elena talks about redeeming someone with her powers, it pisses me off for some weird reason. It really bugs me when people push redemption
forcefully onto other people like the way Elena has been doing and describing in her thoughts (pgs 381-382 from this book comes to mind). I liked
Elena better when she was a normal human. She was manipulative then, but at least she didn't really forced anyone like in the matter that is shown in
The Return.
Me: Open up, ice cream carton! I want to eat your insides.
*Received a disturbed stare from roommate* Oh, that sounded so wrong, didn't it?
Roommate: Yup.
