I AM afraid of my dreams, more than anything else. I'm not quite sure why, though. Probably the whole "the mind has power over the body" thing.
Thanks though, Incanto.:)

You know, my best friend and I were talking about this, our nightmares. And she could articulate what her worst fears were. I tried and was stumped.
I mean, I've got this thing about sharks. As in I don't want to be eaten by one. Or more like, half-eaten by one. And often when I'm swimming and
I let my mind wander, I start thinking about this giant shark head appearing in front of me, and, you know, getting half eaten by a shark. In a
pool.
And yet, in terms of a nightmare, well, it's kind of lame. I mean, ok, that's probably what I'd draw on my bit of paper when playing the game. And
I'd sincerely mean it. I mean, who want to be (half) eaten by a shark? And sharks kind of scare me. But it's derived out of not liking sharks, and
not wanting to die messily and in a lot of pain. It's not drawn from some deep psychological trauma, which the FG nightmares seemed to revolve
around.
Granted, I didn't really find the FG nightmare to be particularly scary frankly, (they seemed more like these grand adventures) and the shark thing
scares me more. But I can't help think it misses the point of the, you know, deep psychological insight the FG nightmares were about.
Oh, I am pretty illogically scared of mirrors in the dark. So maybe that. Or being half eaten by a shark. Coz like dude, have you seen their
teeth? And they are fast little fuckers. In summer, everyone's on shark watch around here.

I think I just realized what I'm afraid of more than my dreams.
Being totured by someone I care about. And I mean phisically totured. Emotional I can deal with (hey, my step-dad used it for years), not phisical. I
mean, feeling a blade cutting into your skin like you're butter, and looking up to beg for them to stop, and it's someone who said they loved you and
cared for you. I think that's my absolute worst fear. (I'm not going into more detail, the whole "say it and it happens" thing is big with me.)

I used to have that same problem idolatrie...not sharks per se, but whenever I was in a pool by myself, I'd get really really scared thinking there
was SOMETHING in the water that was going to eat me/pull me under/etc.
I dunno what I'd draw if I played the Game. 'Cause I have a lot of fears, but honestly...even if I hadn't read FG, I would probably be too paranoid to
draw a fear that I was really REALLY afraid of. Because then I might have to talk about it. And I'd be tempting fate.
So I'd probably draw something that I thought was scary but was relatively easy to draw. Like a giant squid. Or Father Dagon. Or HAVING TO EAT YARN.

I think my biggest fear would be... well, fear. Being alone in a dark room and shaking and sobbing because I'm just so terrified. When I was little I
used to be terrified of reading horror or listening to scary stories just incase I got scared. I think i might've had phobophobia (fear of fear). As a
result, I've never really been afraid. Except on this one rollercoaster....
I'm also scared of falling from heights. Not of heights, of falling off them. I think most people have that, though.

"Once... once it was like breathing to me."
"What happened?"
"One day... I just stopped breathing."

My worst fear would be losing my husband and/or my daughter. Second would be anything involving spiders.

lol! idolatrie pretty much took the words out of my mouth.
Sharks have been my biggest nightmare-inducer ever since I was a little kid-- I still have nightmares about them, and I'm 20!
I guess my other thing would be being helpless and/or losing my family. But I guess those would be a bit too intangible for Julian...

He could probably make you think you were losing them, though, in a realistic enough way.

Zombies are the only things that I have nightmares about. I have aleast one nightmare a week of being chased down and eaten by zombies. If I get up in
the night I have to turn on lights and check around the house to make sure nothing is there and I will not go into my basement once it gets dark out
if I don't need to. Doesn't help that I love zombie movies and books (World War Z!!). I think its the idea of some unstoppable person that I might
know that wants to eat me, canniableism buggs me too. I would never draw that if I was playing the game though just in case it came true.
I would probably draw water because I get freaked out too by being in a pool alone that something is waiting in the water to get me. I think Julian
would still send zombies after me though...in the water .

Oh, good, this is an easy thread. If I had to list the things I'm most afraid of, Julian would have a bloody field day with me.
Given, I often have nightmares about a massive tsunami (2012 style) heading straight for me, but my worst nightmare come to life? Zombies!! They're
the only things in the world that actually truly scare me. I've got Shaun of the Dead as a sort of parody to ease my fear after being subjected to
playing games such as Left4Dead or watching Resident Evil and the likes.

Just thought I'd share...
I had a nightmare a few nights ago that I was being chased by zombie cats and I had to bash them with an IT Textbook to stay alive. I think that is
from playing Left 4 Dead 2 waaay too much, lol.
What I would draw... well I don't know how I would since its already happening. Just watching my Mother's disease get worse and feeling completely
helpless to do anything. I just hope she'll be one of the lucky ones, and she'll still live to an old age with some mobility.

Mine would be being in complete darkness. I can't stand the dark at all. It makes me panic.
I laugh in the face of danger. Then I hide until it goes away.

I have so many nightmares that Julian would have a freakin' field day with me. I mean, I have the longest list...bugs, fire, darkness, creepy girl
ghosts from Japanese movies, elevators, flying, horses...

My biggest nightmare is being stuck back in an argument with my father and unable to escape him no matter what I do. He is/was an abusive jerk and
now that I don't have to deal with him, having to deal with him again and not have control over the situation would be the worst.

Being in an elevator in an abandoned, locked up, massive building in the middle of no-where (maybe a field or a big abandoned area of countryside or
some other freaky place) - at night. Screaming and shouting but not being able to get out, nobody can hear you and your getting lower and lower down
into the building until it just stops - and then your really, utterly trapped. Forever. I had a horrible nightmare about this.
Another is being chased up stairs. It just scares me for some reason, because you know that they're behind you. I had a nightmare that I was being
chased by a little dead girl up the stairs of a horrible little house in a forest (this was after watching "The Ring") and when I got to the top, I
looked up and the ceiling was really, really high and for some reason it scared the crap out of me...ugh.

I agree with the creepy girl ghosts...things like the girl from "The Ring" or "The Grudge" are so freaky it's unbelievable. I think little children
are really scary when they're evil as well.
